Woundn’t the king of spades be slightly more likely to appear as the first ace you flip over could be the ace of spades, therefore making it impossible for the next card to be the ace of spades. You have a 1 in 4 chance that the first ace is the ace of spades. So the true odds that the next card after the first ace is

I was definitely confused as to what happened. This launch was finally at a time and day that I was able to make the trek out to the coast to see the launch in person (right up on the beach, as close to the launch pad as possible ~ 3.5 miles away). I was there with my 5 year old daughter and we heard the engines

Both Sun Gas and Suncoast have their prices posted, but they go to great lengths to try to hide them from people both on the road and at the pumps. The one on the West side of Semoran (cant remember which one it is) typically has a bus from one of the nearby car parking places park right in front of the gas price sign

I will have to try this. I have had pretty good success using Bar Keepers Friend to clean my glass shower doors in the past, but dryer sheets sound like they might be easier and cheaper to use.

Dare2Escape in Orlando/Kissimmee is one of my favorite places. I have done all 4 of their original rooms and they just opened a couple more that I have not yet had a chance to play. They are owned/operated by former Universal Studios employees that worked to create the Halloween Horror Nights sets (if I am remembering

I have found that some items are significantly cheaper on Amazon Fresh than anywhere else. For instance, a 12 pack of diet coke at any store without some sort of sale is anywhere between $4-6. Even on Amazon Fresh, a 12 pack is $4.88 for me. However, a 24 pack is currently priced at $2.19. How this makes any sense, I

Whether or not he would be able to run again appears to be dependent on the Senate. “During impeachment proceedings, the Senate would also decide as to whether the president could serve in another “office of public trust under the United States” or another capacity within government.” However, I was under the

A couple things I have done recently, or am in the process of doing, include increasing savings into an emergency fund, working to pay off existing car loan debt off, and refinancing my mortgage.

I often don’t end up using all of my days each year, but they do roll over form year to year, with a cap of 456 hours. I typically take at least 2 weeks off at Christmas, so I always need to make sure to have enough time off saved up for that (with the holidays in there, it only ends up being 7-8 days of PTO used).

They must not have any Chick-Fil-A’s in Minneapolis. They have technique for drive-thrus down to a t. Even in the middle of a lunch rush, you can get through a Chick-Fil-A drive-thru in about 5 minutes.

As my daughter is only 5, I still have a while until I have this sort of conversation with her. However, it would depend on what she wants to do in her life and whether or not that aligns with something that you would need to go to college for. Personally, both my wife and I work in field where having a 4 year degree

My company offers matching up to a total of 3%, but they do it $0.50 on the dollar. Therefore to get the full match, you must be contributing at least 6%. This has the benefit of incentivizing people to contribute at least the 6%, which seems to be a little higher than average.

The reason for percentages is that many companies require you to provide a percentage you would like to have taken out. You can use your math to get you in the ballpark and then round to the nearest whole percentage (assuming the only option is whole percentages).

I would recommend doing this same thing while at the airport. The last time I flew Delta, I was booked for a window seat, but really preferred an aisle seat. While at the gate and in line to board, I was constantly updating the app and was able to do a last minute switch to an aisle seat.

I doubt they would be able to match the base salary I am being offered (upwards of 20-30% more than what I am currently making). However as my current benefits are better than what I would be getting should I make the switch, the total compensation is really not all that much higher.

Man, this couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time. Like the OP, I am happy with my job but have recently taken the next step and gone on a couple of interviews. Now I need to figure out how to leverage the job offer I received into a raise at my current company.

A year or so ago, I called my cable company and threatened to cancel, however they were only willing to drop the monthly prices by $5 per month (from $180 to $175). I then signed up for DirecTV/AT&T internet (new price of $108) at Costco (got $350 in Costco gift cards by signing up there) and had everything installed.

A counter point to your statement would be, if the Fed raises rates a couple times and banks start offering normal savings account at interest rates that are higher than your CD, now you are making less money than you could because your money is locked up.

My problem with CDs right now is that they just do not seem worth it. Unless you are very bad at managing money and need it “locked” away for a set period of time, I have found it is much better to just get a savings account.

Looks like it is a family name going back a couple generations. Both his father and grandfather have the same first and middle names and at least his father appears to also go by “U.S.”
