To highlight the differences between a generic savings account and a 529 when it comes to interest/growth, my savings account with Ally earns 1.15% while my 1 year rate of return on the 529 I have set up for my daughter is at 17.82% (14.82% YTD and 12.46% since inception). That is a very significant difference in my

I’m glad I’m not the only one who does this. The polarized glasses especially help during the showers when the rain is still out (we get those a lot in Florida). And as long as I’m going above 45-50 mph, the Rain-X takes care of any of the rain on the windshield.

  • Small: A small onion should weigh around 4 ounces, should fit pretty easily in your hand, and should yield about 1/2 cup once chopped.

I’m not sure. If I do switch, I will probably take everything back myself. There is a service center not far from my house and I have several cable boxes that would need to be returned. Plus, I know they will give me a receipt saying that I returned the equipment when I’m in their service center. Not sure if

I’m not sure how much I can lower my phone bill. I currently have Cricket with 4 lines, so I’m getting as much of a discount there as possible. I did look at everyone’s usage and see if anyone could drop down a tier. Only one line on the plan could easily drop down, but the way Cricket has their pricing and group

Any word on the seemingly bad reviews that all say something to the effect of Yi keeping tabs on people, storing short clips of video to sell to third parties, etc.? The Amazon review page for this camera is littered with one star reviews.

Yeah, I definitely agree that everyone’s experiences are different. I was not trying to come off as ignorant or rude with my comments. It’s just a completely different lifestyle having to drive everywhere vs. being able to walk/take public transportation. If I ever move to a place where something like a parking

Damn, that’s a lot just so you don’t have to get out of your car to get gas.

Having never used a full service gas station, what is the protocol when filling up at a full service station? Do you have to pay/tip the attendants?

“There are companies that make “CLEAN/DIRTY” signs to post on the outside of the dishwasher. Not only do these require spending money, they require you to remember to turn the sign around. The dish towel method requires only that you reach for a dish towel when you see a batch of freshly washed and rinsed dishes.”

“...Drumpf’s staff could be charged with conspiracy (18 U.S. Code § 371) to violate election laws of the United States. In this case, U.S. law prohibits foreign nationals from contributing any “thing of value” to an electoral campaign—and dirt on Hilary Clinton may fall under that loose terminology.”

I can think of several scenarios where leaving a child in the car can and should be acceptable:

I believe paper fastpasses are still available at Disney World as well. So I don’t think that would be the reason.

Any idea why they charge for this at Disneyland but it is free for everyone at Disney World? As an Orlando local, having the ability to book 3 Fastpass reservations per day is awesome. May times, my family will decide whether or not to go to Disney based on which Fastpasses we can book that morning.

A couple hundred watts is a little high, especially for an average person at rest. Per ASHRAE, a person seated in a theater would give off around 350 Btu/h (roughly 100W). It would take a decent amount of activity to reach a couple hundred watts given off by a single person.

There was a similar incident here in Orlando about a year ago. Cop was chasing a suspect and blew through a red light going 90 mph. He was cited, suspended and docked pay, but really he is just lucky he didn’t kill anyone.

Coupon code brings it to $15, not $13. Numbers don’t match in the article.

Am I missing something? They show at $10 for me.

I would be wary of a car seat on Craigslist. Not only do they expire, but like bike/motorcycle helmets, they are good for one crash. If you can’t be certain that it has never been in a car that has crashed, you shouldn’t buy it. The resale stores near me won’t buy used car seats for this reason.
