Tesla’s use of the word autopilot, in hindsight, is probably less-than-desirable fucking stupid.

Someone sue Tesla over Autopilot OUTSIDE of California. Someplace that does not habitually kiss Musk’s ass. Maybe then Tesla will 1) stop calling that death trap “auto-pilot”, and 2) deactivate it until that actually get it working RIGHT! I’m sure they could focus on getting the ADAS systems working properly much…
As an old AND a person who has worked with electronics and sensors for 30 years, I would rather DRIVE MY FUCKING CAR and not rely on buggy equipment and software to do it for me
IMHO, Singapore is on to something with public caning.
Having an “advanced driver assistance” system that is JUST good enough to drive the car right up until the moment it can’t is idiotic. Humans are not wired to work very well in that sort of situation.
A little ruff but otherwise good.
And yet cop is still not even in the top ten most dangerous line of work. It is almost like situations like this are the exception and not the rule. Cops are not at risk.
That’s why I hope there is some jail time in this “driver’s” future. This kind of willful disregard for everyone’s safety can’t be dealt with lightly. It should be no different than a DUI (which still isn’t punished like it should be).
Jesus, Torch. I read the entire thing, and you missed the biggest piece of info.
This frankly goes to show the risks that the troopers are under in just normal duty. If they hadn’t done what they had done, this car would have plowed into potentially an occupied vehicle and caused further injuries. It’s not just violent criminals that threaten lives, but inattentive drivers.
OU #8 is blocked into the ball by his own teammate, OU #18, not the KSU player engaging him.
So “one of the 4 best teams in the country” should be rewarded in a game they gave up 48 points to an unranked team based on the camera correctly showing they touched the ball before it went the required 10 yards? FOH w/ this crap.
If it wasn’t for those couple frames of film we've endlessly reviewed, JFK’s brains would still be in his head.
This take was so bad I expected it to blame Millennials by the end.
the game most certainly would have ended in a victory for the Sooners.
Take your click. Your argument is asinine and is not worthy of serious consideration by anyone.
I knew what I was getting into when I clicked on this, but I still feel regret.
It’s not about two frames of video. A ball ricocheting off someone can only take place over two frames of video. It’s about those two frames conclusively showing that an Oklahoma player touched the ball before 10 yards, which should have been seen in real time. Video replay allows referees to correct calls they messed…
It was very obvious...even off of two frames of footage...that the ball hit number 8 before 10 yards. Don't be a dullard.
