Thank you. Came here to say how particularly repugnant it is for the guy whose corporation is known for devastating local hardware stores to have the chutzpah to complain about it being hard to start a small business these days. And for him to say that he’d never be able to start Home Depot these days? Well no shit,

Hey, you know what else is bad for small businesses? Gigantic chain like Home Depot that move into mid-sized towns and drive those small hardware shops out of business.

“and that he will “never be his happy go lucky self [sic]” again.”

I can’t get past Pomsky: what a funny combination.

Yep. That quote from the judge -

The thing is, they didn’t even HAVE to listen to women. There were two men that saved her, chased him off, and acted as eyewitnesses to his crime, but his welfare is still prioritized before hers. And arguably, before the welfare of his next potential victim.

You can police every aspect of your speech, you can wear the right things, you can get all the degrees and expertise, you can write the most fucking eloquent and heartbreaking courtroom statement and still there are men who will not hear you because they just don’t listen to women.

“Perhaps you could rename [the] podcast, stuff you missed in history class mostly about women”

I can see the basis for complaint. Women didn’t even exist until the 1960s, so it’s really a disservice to cover them at all. It is a history podcast, after all, and history was written by us white men.

When we exist it’s just TOO MUCH.

Damn! I love it when they lay the smack down. Once, out at the range, a visiting officer commented on how there were "so many women out here." There were exactly four of us. We pretty much just rolled our eyes and were like "Yes, sir."

Oh honey. As much as I applaud casting attractive men in gay porn in your imagination, I think if this kid were inclined to hustle he would’ve figured it out on his own a long time ago and would not be married to a nurse and living in Stockton.

That doesn’t explain him shitting on her (once only by implication) in three separate interviews, unprompted. It doesn’t explain why she is the one he lashed out at. It doesn’t explain why the comments were so gendered. It doesn’t explain the mystery that is Adam Levine. So, nah.

Ah, but why would a company hire 20 people for 20 jobs when they could squeeze 20 jobs’ worth of work out of 15 employees who are so desperate to keep their jobs that they’re afraid to say no?

“Instead of being like, ‘Thank you very much, Mr. Trump,’ or ‘Trump did a good job,’ everyone’s saying, ‘Who got it? Who got it? Who got it?’ And you make me look very bad,” Trump complained, taking on reporters in the room. “I have never received such bad publicity for doing such a good job.”

“I never said six!”

I’m assuming she didn’t want to be alone with him because he kept telling her they needed to get together to do ‘real work’ on her learning to be vulnerable and reveal her true self, so she kept bringing people to the ‘meetings’ he called her to. And good on her for protecting herself so wisely.

“She made sure she would never be caught alone with me, such a bitch, and I’m such a nice guy.”
