I hope he gets his wish. Hooks crossed.

I disagree - I think he’s hilarious and should focus on comedy. Hell, he even manages to make a kidnapper-rapist funny in Kimmy Schmidt.

It’s also a reassurance to the person asking. It lets them go on with their lives. They want to think the person is improving, not that life is hell and they sometimes think about stepping in front of a train.

I don’t think anyone with a chronic illness is surprised by any of this. People love to ask how you’re feeling so that they can congratulate you on being brave/a fighter/etc when you politely just say “fine” and downplay things. People don’t like when you actually acknowledge how much it fuckin’ sucks because that’s

I can’t say I find JH to be especially funny, but he keeps popping up in comedies that I love (Children’s Hospital, Travel Man, Toast of London, Curb, etc.) so I’d say he has good taste at least.

Can’t blame her at all. MS sounds like utter hell.

I’ve heard the phrase “Character actor stuck in a leading man’s body” a few times, usually for people like Colin Farrel, but Jon Hamm has always hit me as a great example. He wants nothing more than to be in 5-10 weird and interesting projects a year but his face is made for being the lead actor in bland

The Man Who Ate U.N.C.L.E.

before all of that stuff happened to me, I didn’t feel good

His family’s loaded, right? If he really wants to make something “outside of the Hollywood system,” it shouldn’t be that hard for him. He probably has a bunch of time shares he can use as locations too.

it remains very, very funny to me that his career completely evaporated because he was too horny.

They should just do an entire show where there’s an internal monologue for a bunch of kids going through puberty. I’m imagining a great Nick Kroll vehicle.

::touches ear::

I’m being told seven seasons of this show and a two-season spin-off already exist.

She starts puberty and one of the emotions isn’t horniness?

people with kids - what do your kids think about inside out, and are they excited for inside out 2?

I don’t know what Thompson is supposed to do or say here, and what he has said has been pretty fair in threading a difficult needle. Sometimes crazy shit happens and you just don’t see it. Maybe you aren’t the target of it, maybe you didn’t notice, whatever. So when people speak to their experience, the best you can

So these jackasses got to heckle a comedian AND got their money back.

In hindsight, maybe the people who burned women alive in public shouldn’t have been the founding moral values of our nation.

Honestly good for him. Screaming out, even positively, at someone trying to do a show is a dick move.  And instead of ranting or dropping some ethnic slurs, he just left.

I disagree. I think they do pride tie-ins because they think it will make the line go up. If they thought it would have no impact, they wouldn’t do it. Why spend money on something if it won’t raise (or at least maintain) profit?

I also wonder how much of this hatred is based on the fact that those in the majority often don’t have a real sense of community. White people (of which I am one) don’t necessarily have a lot that connects them with other white people. Straight people don’t have a lot that connects them with other straight people. Men
