They're hard to grow in winter.
They're hard to grow in winter.
I thought, and many have commented, that Harrington has actually noticeably improved from season to season. Still one of the weakest links on the show, yes, but at least not painful to watch anymore.
Just realized from this trailer (sorry if it's been pointed out a million times already) how the White Walkers are a pretty remarkable metaphor for climate change - notice how Jon Snow basically has to convince everyone that this threat is 'real' and they should all stop bickering amongst themselves for political and…
They had more than three didn't they?
Especially white walking.
-said no one.
I would so love that. In fact I'd happily watch a whole seven-season spinoff just about backroom political dealings in Westeros and Essos, with the ghost of Tywin Lanister breaking the fourth wall every so often to teach us his wisdom from his eternal position sat on top of a royal toilet bowl.
I'm opposed to it.
Yes Italians used to be Roman and generally avoid eating horses, but they moved on, progressed and went on to discover and perfect hundreds of amazing dishes, while the Brits kept on eating roasted mutton and mashed potatoes.
Not to mention the tehina… killing so many small, powerless sesame seeds and grinding them into a goo… you're never really the same after that.
I'm just glad they let Mark Margolis speak Spanish one last time with Nacho's dad, I'm sure he appreciated it. It even made the subsequent scenes where he speaks in English with other Spanish-speaking characters less odd, because by then you're just thankful not to hear his Spanish accent again.
Makes perfect sense! ;)
It took me a while but I thought I sort of got most of the symbolism behind the crazy stuff in the original series and movie, if not all on a rational I-can-now-explain-it-to-you level then at least on an emotional one. This though… should we even get our hopes up?
Ah I've got it! At least you didn't get your head caved in by an air conditioner. Take comfort my friend.
Rest in peace Ray Stussy. You were my least favorite central character in all three seasons of Fargo and the story will likely get twice as interesting and clever without your stupidity and incompetence dragging it down, but… actually I'm not sure if I have anything positive to say.
That's interesting, but I can't for the life of me imagine Pearl Jam music in a David Lynch production.
Oh yeah, that's where I know her from. He produced her albums and videos didn't he?
I think the result of him being tricked is that he's in that state, not that he's in a different reality… but who the hell knows.
Another great choice: Las Vegas.
I'm not sure it's as much due to being in the Black Lodge for 25 years as the thing the One Armed Man mentioned, that he was tricked and basically both Cooper and the Doppelcooper are only halfway 'there' in the real world at the moment.
Yep, it was between them and Rammstein for the LH crossover.
