My ‘08 Z4 did the window thing, and would put the top down too if you kept holding it. ‘12 X1 had framed windows and did the roll-down and would then do the moonroof if you keep holding. Current ‘17 Mustang does it too. If nothing else it’s definitely becoming a common feature.

It is the same engine. They all have the Yamaha head. Yamaha does tons of engine work for Toyota. The only variance is the aggressiveness of the tune.
