Has the Nati ever even been considered as an expansion or relocation city for NBA or NHL teams?
Mookie Betts strikes....but not out.

At the candlepin bowling alley in Southie, they have a number of Fatheads on the wall next to lane 1, of various Boston sports heroes: Brady, Gronk, Bergeron, Ortiz, etc. There’s also one of Aaron Hernandez, with black jail bars hung in front of him. It might be the most Spahts Hub thing evah.

Fun fact (which is widely know, but always interesting to bring up):
Mets aren’t nearly as bad. Jay Payton was at least a contributor from 2000-2003. David Wright is one of the top five greatest Mets of all time. Kazmir was solid in Tampa Bay. Matt Harvey still has potential to be great, and Michael Fulmer was Rookie of the Year last year. Even Conforto isn’t terrible yet.

I totally live in a women’s hockey bubble - Wisconsin sells out their 3,000 seat arena almost every game, and draws 12-15K for a couple games a year at the Kohl Center. And that’s in a city with other good college sports. Clearly this is an outlier, but at least SOMEONE is supporting them.
Noah Syndergaard did it last year.
I feel like Donnie Iris could still headline in Milwaukee today.
“No, Panda, we said dance the mashed potato!”
Funny thing is, if Tiger had played the Masters in ‘86, he might have made the cut.
It’s similar in women’s hockey (though admittedly there are far fewer schools playing D-1 in that sport). Since the first championship in 2001, only four schools have won: Minnesota, UM-Duluth, Wisconsin, and Clarkson.
My grandparents called each other Mom and Dad, but I think that was a product of having seven kids, and hearing that way more often that it just stuck.
