I agree, I was not expecting to like it nearly as much as I did. Honestly the price is pretty fair for what it is, considering this vehicle does basically everything you could reasonably ask it to do. $70k or so isn’t bad considering a mid-tier luxury sedan will cost you about that much.

Body bags for all the mannequins.

I tried to find data on this but could not, and as someone whose job involves math, I cannot let this stand. If the average is $45K, that does not at all imply that half the vehicles sold cost more than that. If the MEDIAN were $45K, then yes. But it is extremely ease to construct a data set where 9 of 10 values is

That’s because they choose to buy those things. I am all for choice, but unless you count the obesity epidemic; families have not changed much.

I say- better to find out the trunk is too small before you buy.

The 94-98-ish Maxima was my personal high-water mark for Nissan.

You’re saying we have to design new cars at some point?

“Stellantis’ most prestigious marque would have to be Ferrari, and up until recently it swore it’d never go fully electric”

I accept only one XM and that’s the correct XM

Panel fitment is not important in the Apocalypse...

Absolutely off topic, but this right here:

How do you keep your sanity

I really hate when people make these arguments. Less than 45% of people live in an area with ANY public transportation (geographically it is less than 5%) and of those who do live in an area with public transportation only 5% of those actually use it. This is a logical fallacy to pretend that somehow increases in

That lady is never going to be buying a more fuel efficient vehicle no matter what happens with the price of gasoline. IMHO, the solution for that particular problem has nothing to do with the gas (sin) tax since her problems are societal.

Counterpoint: When I take my daughter to gymnastics across town, several people will sit in their vehicles and leave the SUV engine running for the entire 1.5 hour lesson, no matter what the weather. These people definitely are not hurting enough to reconsider their habits.

Imma stop you RIGHT there... no... just no.”

Half of the population of this country is functionally illiterate. You expect them to make informed and logical choices when it comes to purchasing a vehicle? Wishful thinking my friend.

I live on the fringe of a metro area in the upper Midwest. I don't feel sorry for them, because every time gas prices drop for more than a few months, they celebrate by going out and buying a bigger truck and/or more gas powered toys, then get mad and complain that they can't afford gas when the prices go back up.

They can’t make desirable ICE vehicles for $20k.
