“That’s not socialism in any way.”

It’s socialism, because corporate America, which is reaping record profits, is leaving their poverty level workers to be taken care of by Uncle Sam, even though they could easily do profit sharing for all workers with those profits, and pull them out of the poverty range.

i assume JD management chose what it saw as the best of 4 options. pay their workers more? nope. shut down factory production? nope. hire scabs? nope. force the workers that showed up to take the Team Player Test? let’s go with that.

You are looking at this through the wrong lense. It’s not Dunning-Kruger at all. Management is just trying to buy time until some people miss some house payments and crawl back to the pre-existing poor wages. This is not the first time or the last this will happen.

If you read about this more you’ll see that what’s also going on here is the rank and file wanting to drastically change how the UAW works and how its leaders are elected. Their leaders have been screwing them for years particularly with these two-tier contracts and they’ve finally had enough. The rank and file

You’d have to really REALLY love the absurdity of the CyberTruck at this point to choose it over the Rivian, the Lightning, the Hummer EV or the Upcoming entries from...Chevy and Ram. This thing is going to be DOA when it arrives. It’s just too unconventional to find conventional buyers.

I know why it’s delayed — it’s still rendering!

Damn not even Honda can buy a new GPU to get more polygons in its renders

The Priceline guy? Bet he got a great deal on that ticket.

This is Eriks best work at Jalopnik.

That’s going to be the future of cars in the EV era. We were promised wildly different body types (truck, sedan, coupe, van) that you could mount onto a skateboard chassis as necessary; what we are actually going to get is 10 flavors of pillbox window crossovers with slightly different ride heights and the choice of a

So 5 of the same car, just some of them taller? Also can the future not be so triangular? It works for lamborghini, and tron, but idk in the words of Randy: I aint feeling it dog.

I wonder what normies think about Tesla, if they ever do at all.”
