Might want to take a closer look. A good 50% of that “grille” isn’t open.

*and yes, I’m counting the black bumper part, because they clearly want people to think it is part of the grille

I highly doubt its needed for cooling. The most efficient cooling duct is after all smallest at the inlet to insure contious flow into it.

Going 15 years between updates, proud of a hideously dated and plasticky interior, horrible MPG. Who do they think they are, Nissan?

I have to say, there’s not a single aspect of this truck that’s not monumentally fuck-ugly.

I really wanted to like it but I think they took a swing and miss here. I mean it’ll probably be stupid reliable which is great but it looks like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. I also think not having the ability to use it like a generator similar to the F-150 hybrid is a mistake.

Maybe they’ll bring out the “robot” again? Beep-boop-beep!

I appreciate you watching that!

I just think saying someone is an “XYZ hater” is essentially writing them off as someone unable to think critically about the topic due to their own blinding biases. Torch doesn’t fall into that camp.

It still seems crazy that they are going ahead with a sedan and not, you know, a crossover as their first model, or that they haven’t already promised a crossover as a follow up to my knowledge.

I’ll be patiently waiting in the comments for someone to come say how this EV won’t work for them because their commute is 600 miles each way in the snow towing a 12,000lb trailer.

It’s worth noting that it does happen sometimes when there’s gridlock on a freeway

It’s gotta be.  I’ve read enough of Elizabeth’s work to know she knows better.
