Yes. I am a conservative and there’s nothing more conservative than using fewer resources. I commute 13 miles each way to work, about 11 on interstate, and it’s always my goal to achieve 26 MPG in commuting. For road trips, I take steps to maximize fuel economy and it’s not uncommon for us to see 27-29MPG in our

Ford in the early 1980s.....I honestly believe their designers forgot how to sculpt a compound curve for the five years between 1978 and 1982.

“What other company has the courage to reduce safety in the pursuit of profits?”

Don’t forget the other other lunar vehicle GM worked on. Oddly enough, it had a Corvair engine, which makes me wonder if that was just for testing purposes, or if they’d planned to take a liquid oxidizer up there.

LockMarts contribution will be that it will cost 738% more than it should and be 12 years behind schedule because they have to buy 3 more companies to actually engineer it.

2022 is 6 months away. Mid-decade is like 5 minutes later. I’ll believe it when I see Spielberg direct it.

In one episode Radar was found to be sending home a Jeep via mail—one part at a time. I think that qualifies him as David Tracy’s godfather.

For all we know, there could be a completely logical reason for Tesla to be going this route to their autonomous goal (which I agree is nowhere close to fruition), but since Tesla doesn’t do press, we don’t get a clarification. If it was GM, they’d just put out a press release with an explanation. Since we don’t get

What now Tesla?

I dunno, I read the whole article and I don’t see where Jason was out of line. It all sounds pretty reasonable and not especially hyperbolic; radar can do things cameras can’t, Tesla’s cameras aren’t even particularly sophisticated, and the deletion of radar will impact some features. This is a topic I’ve seen

I wrote the most amazing, beautiful, insightful rebuttal to your non-comment, but it was simply too good for this world, so I’ve purged it from existence.

I got that deal. Can’t say I was disappointed, either.

Look at the bright side, at least neither in this deal will have Nissan’s awful CVT.

The only thing worse than buying a Nissan is ending up with 2 of them.

They just need to turn it up a notch.

Oh I full appreciate the implications of what I typed. Maybe it’s just our household budget model, but I don’t think even we have any business buying a new pickup. Two kids, dual incomes, grossing over $200k in a place that’s pretty inexpensive to live, and holy moley I can’t imagine the pain that comes with buying a

So...Much...Bro...Power...

I have seen documentaries about this. I’m pretty sure they are afflicted by the Madness of the Reefer. Those wild, crazed eyes on the guys, show that they have been consumed by the Devil’s Lettuce and are in dark clutches of Satan’s grasp.

The math doesn’t work out good for this image.
