GM has all these trendy designers and smart engineers but they repeatedly end up with uninspiring vehicles. The Chevy Bolt has technology to rival Tesla at a better price but no one wants it. The Silverado is a good truck, but it’s butt ugly. There is no central vision that results in good cohesive products.

I doubt Galahad was this excited when he found the actual Holy Grail.

Now that he has seen this, expect Torch’s resignation from Jalopnik any day now.

New version, snazzier graphics, similar edge case problems.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Tail light hentai.

So fast. So furious.

Mazda’s defining moments were winning LeMans with a rotary race car and developing viable rotary engine passenger cars. The Miata showed they can do great things without a rotary engine. Please, Mazda, let it go.

I drive a 95hp Corvair every day in Atlanta. I have never had a problem merging, passing, clearing an intersection, or running at 80+ in the fast lane. 10 second 0-60 is perfectly fine if you anticipate traffic are willing to use everything on offer. If you think you need under 7 second 0-60, learn to drive.

Corvair owner here. Yes they like to leak oil and they’re not as efficient or powerful as they should be but they are light and the low hp versions (< 95) are very reliable. The belts are fine if you get them aligned and keep them loose. They need different care skills for sure but mine starts, runs great, and doesn't

That is the problem with Earthlings, always thinking they are the only damn beings in the whole solar system.

Well there was a rental van.

Actually most convertibles are for people who always wanted a convertible but really don’t want to drive with the top down. Just notice how many drivers have their soft (or hard) tops up on a perfect weather day. My 1990 Miata has seen the vast majority of its 200,000 miles with top down.

Yeah, because those were soooo good.

Driving off the racing line is absolutely the difference between being a good racing driver and being a good racer. A good racer will envision their and their rival’s paths through the corner and choose the optimal one to be in the best place to overtake. In this week’s Austrian Grand Prix you could see veteran

I look forward to being PWND by 69.

And yet another reason not to buy a new car.

I’m also a software engineer and I agree with your point. However, throttle and brake by wire have been a real thing for some time now. So far so good. Things like AutoPilot are the next step up in potential disaster.

Easy. Act like it never happened. Then when prices come down, it didn’t.
