Growing up in the malaise era, I remember when 200hp was a lot. When minivans started having 300hp and fast cars topped 500hp my mind was blown. What we have now is insane.
Can’t expect today’s “journalists” to know those fancy words. And apparently it costs too much to hire an English teacher part time to proofread.
When they outlaw anti-freeze, only outlaws will have anti-freeze.
Cop just making his white dude quota. Gotta keep it fair.
The UK auto job losses have been going on for a long time and have accelerated due to Brexit. Why make a car in the UK if you can’t sell it in Europe? EVs actually give the UK a fresh start to create something new that will be in demand around the world.
There was clearly something fishy about the original post. That’s modern “journalism” - chasing clicks like a cyberwhore TikTokker.
Same parent company so it doesn’t count.
I think you are mistaken. That is a HATTITUDE.
Cops draw a line pretty quickly between “good guy” and “bad guy” and then steer their behavior based on that presumption. Their justification is that “well he’s guilty of something.” Don’t fall into that same trap.
Assuming he really was drunk and that the cop didn’t use that as his go-to excuse for a fishing expedition.

One of the evils of colonialism is that the Indians copied so much British engineering.
This is exactly the kind of autonomous vehicle that we can use today. It travels slowly and in a highly mapped and curated area. These would be a much better resource than trendy street cars because they can be redeployed easily to where the people are.
How can you spend years making something and have no video of the one thing everyone wants to see, entering and exiting the water?
And it looks terrible on the water.
And we haven’t even seen it drive.
Crack Pipe All Day.
No you don’t get it. Why do you think people drive trucks? Because they are the heaviest most powerful vehicle you can buy. If you built the heaviest, most powerful full size cars and SUVs, that same wretched excess market segment would buy them.
What a handsome, economical, and practical car. This is exactly what 80% of the population should be driving. Will anyone buy it?
1964 Austin Healey has the hub mounted lever. It looks really cool and it works ok but does require moving your hands from the wheel. Not as good a stalk.
