I don't mean this in a literal shared universe sort of way, but I've always felt that the kind of evil Frank Booth, BOB, The Mystery Man, etc are all representations of the same "monster" that lurks in people.

I'm still not sure if Dougie stuff [it is] supposed to be comedy or not.

Norma. Shelly said she made em in this ep.

It's odd and annoying, especially when that's been the Criticism of Lynch MO for years: that people aren't really vibing with whatever of his they say they like but are just faking it. You think they'd realize it that, no, it just hits a certain note for them.

Lot of people here saying it's not played for laughs, but I'm slowly watching this season now and there's definitely "goofy, fun" music playing over it that totally misses the tone.

It was.

It's not. I was at a screening and Aziz was asking our thoughts afterwards and admitted he had been tweaking the ending (including a scene showing her running to the apartment to see him), but he referenced The Graduate in wanting to leave it on an ambiguous note.

I hate that they made Pino distant/rude, etc. It seemed like the easiest way out of exploring the complexities of such a situation.

Oh just wait……………. for the replies

He has also claimed that the Jewish Mob in Hollywood has labeled him a Nazi and blacklisted him from getting further roles as revenge for the Holocaust, so…

The coffee in the S2 finale "aged" didn't it?

Hel—loo!!!

I hadn't to double check the credits that it was him.

I can't get over how much I enjoyed this or how relieved I am that this couldn't give a fuck about cashing in on its nostalgia (at least so far).

Yup. Pretty similar to that only I had been to the same theaters other older movie nights, and they were great! I have no clue what went wrong that time, but it was infuriating. The only redeeming part was an older woman (like upper 60s) who came by herself because she had "always heard this was worth seeing and her

Nah, this was at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which usually has really great crowds.

Man, one of the worst theater experiences I ever had was a screening of Alien. It was just filled with people laughing at every element of it and acting like it was a dumb, outdated movie. It was totally bizarre.

Agreed.
