So I've seen three episodes, including the last two, and am curious to see how things play out before it. Without giving much away—and admitting I saw it at a time when cuts could still be made—I disagree a bit with the commentary on the romance. I was extremely worried it was headed the way stated above, but there

Disney would have to destroy itself to ever follow such a thought.

It's him and his screenwriting partner Derek Connolly, who has written Monster Trucks and Kong: Skull Island in the meantime.

At least my expectations won't be anywhere near positive or hopeful.

I had hoped that, but The Book of Henry looks fucking awful, so.

Ya done did it, bro.

I think the hardest I laughed was in The Land That Time Forgot when one of the characters opens his mouth really oddly while moving to take a shot, and Jonah (I think) just makes some bizarre noise that's between yawning and a yelp. I do not know why, but whenever they pick up on a small, odd moment like that in a

I wonder if the movie really lost track of who was in charge of the submarine like that or if that portion was just severely edited.

It bums me out a little bit, but I'll admit because that's probably due to a Pavlovian response I have for the original one. It's good, though! I'll get more used to it.

Definitely. There's like a gradient of pop culture style jokes to me and internet/viral centric ones tend to age the quickest especially because it's all so rapid.

The extended "Honey badger" video joke was super weird to me. I dunno why that stuck out so much, but it did.

I read somewhere that they recorded a lot of the riffs separately due to scheduling issues, and if that's true, it'd make sense because that's how it feels.

Fuuuuuuuuck Clanker's Cavern so hard.

It also got a lot of criticism for being as absurd as it gets when it comes to collecting a mountain of things.

So the next book is definitely coming out after the series ends, right? At this point, I kinda hope so because it'd just be funny if they managed to do the entire series nearly between book releases.

Pynchon's song writing is perfect how dare you.

LOL

Well, not "press." But word of mouth for fans and random bloggers/youtubers invited to the early screenings. There's some great tweets and such out there.
