They introduced new features like the 4.0 Engine and 6 speed gearbox. The first Singers where only available with a 3.6 and 5 speed. These new introductions are what make up the “$700,000” figure. I’m sure you could still get them to build you a 3.6 5 speed for $350,000 plus your donor car.

360 pounds lighter and 2.1 seconds quicker to 60 than a 964..

I doubt it considering the hand built engine and full carbon fibre body. Not too mention race suspension and all of the interior and exterior pieces. I the Chris Harris video I think they mention the new wiring harness is $40,000 on its own.

I don’t think a used turbo would eat a Singer alive if you had the top spec 4.0 engine. 3.3 to 60 and faster than a 458 around Laguna Seca.
