I’ve been playing the Kemco Games line of RPGs lately. They’re retro graphics, lots of story, and no complicated processes for progressing in the game. They’re also cheap (gotta love that!). For me, it’s Adventure for the Atari 2600 and Adventure Creator by Spinnaker Software for the Commodore 64. Every year or so I go back and enjoy them just that “one more time.” Still fun.

I just discovered Hiro (Hiroo) Isono through this article and, after checking out his artwork on the web, all I can say is that I am greatly saddened I was not aware of this man before. Isono was a great artist and his talent is undoubtedly missed be all those who knew of him.
