Jon Stewart said it best, “Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America”.

This is stupid. They could sell ad space during broadcast for hat manufacturers for their reporters to wear. WHY IS EVERYONE SO BAD AT CROSS PROMOTION.
I admit I haven’t really paid attention to her acting in any other movie but Working Girl, but that movie is a classic because of her role in it.
But when ageism really only affects one sex and not the other, is it really ageism?
Here’s what convinced me that Avery didn’t commit the murder: the recorded phone calls between him and Jodi.
That whispery, breathy, baby voice made me want to punch the TV. Well, that and his face.
Momma Avery melts my heart. Thinking about her picking out that lamp just kills me for some reason.
How many times is this context-free hatchet job from Pajiba and the corresponding whining from confirmed corrupt pervert Ken Kratz going to be rehashed?
My real takeaway from MaM is that I want this lamp.
If these are the main two pieces of evidence not supplied, I think I will stick by the conclusion of the film, and agree they weren’t important. And I remember them talking about the bullet? The fact that it matched the gun, when there were TONS of found bullets on the property from Avery’s gun, that was months later…
I have only watched 4 episodes but it caught my attention that the brother mentions grieving before they even find the car. And then corrects himself and says that maybe they’ll grieve with her back. Um, I’m not an English native speaker but that sounded very weird to me. Don’t people grieve a loss? Did he already…
The fact that they continue to insist that he is guilty while never addressing the corruption involved (which is really what this case is about), only proves that they have something to hide.
Dean Strang may have lost the case, but he won my heart.
I still fail to see how answering the door in a towel, asking Halbach to come take pictures of a car (which was her job...) or calling her because she was late for the appointment to take pictures of a car is “damning” evidence.
Have we addressed the part where he sounds like a six-year-old girl? Because he sounds like a six-year-old girl. Not that six-year-old girls aren’t credible; they are. I’m just wondering if we’re going to talk about it.
During his closing arguments, Kratz said it didn’t matter if the RAV4 key was planted in Steven’s bedroom. That “reasonable doubt is for innocent people.”
I don’t think the police killed this woman to frame Avery. I could absolutely believe that they took an opportunity to frame Avery in that they stacked the deck to insure a conviction.
I too have a job where I travel all over and photograph cars for a living. I have had numerous customers request me, not because they want to torture and murder me, but because people like working with people they know are nice. I wouldn’t call that an “odd relationship.”
There is a list of suspects from when his lawyers tried to repeal the first ruling (I think that is what it is called) where they list four men (all related to Steven Avery) who should have been looked at since they were all there that day at around the time Teresa was there. The lawyers were not allowed to present…
Man, I really want to hear from a member of Halbach’s family who’s not the creepy brother. The whole time I was watching I just kept thinking how outraged I’d be at the shoddiness of the investigation, let alone the likelihood that police co-opted Halbach’s case to put Avery back behind bars. And then there’s the…
