@Buckus: I'm still hanging onto my '94 Caprice LT1-9C1. However, I really wish I had the floor shifter of the '96 SS. My car ALWAYS puts a smile on my face when I drive it.

Geo Tracker whilst driving in College Station, Texas, amongst the "Big Trucks". That was the most humiliating day of my life...to that point anyway.

@Slave2anMG: in the Triangle, the only choice is 88.1 WKNC, but then again there are periods of the day/night that speed-death-metal are a bit too much, at least for me.

@Perry the Platypus: Every time I hear their name, "The Isotherms," I think of the "The Isotopes" from "The Simpsons."

@mechimike: I listen to this station almost daily on iTunes, since I'm all the way in the Capital City but do have access to high-speed internets.

Its my understanding that Woodward Ave. was the location of historic car cruising and epic drive-ins. I don't see how having an historic event here that pays homage to times past discourages anyone from attending.

That car looks like every pinewood derby car I ever made! Finally, the car I always wished I had is made a mere 20 years after I first crafted it! OH YEAH!

I'm guessing the owners are going to be pretty pissed once they realize they didn't get the winter tire option.
