My mom read A Discovery of Witches and loved it— can’t wait to show her the trailer!

Joss Whedon really doesn’t like the Punisher, does he?

Must... promote... favorite... web-artist....

Religious Batman has been done.

If I was to ask you where exactly you could see the megalomania, would you cry Sealion again? If so, let’s just stop.

No one denied that mass murder is wrong, but you keep saying she was self-centered to the point of glory-seeking, and I see no more narcissism in her than the healthy amount that is needed to get the job done. Even when she hogged the news cameras after Number 10 got blown to bits, it was only because the Doctor

Who said it did?

Yes, she made it possible for the Doctor to contact his human friends, find Earth and save the universe, but she also told said friends about her motivations before doing so (they had asked), so clearly her efforts were fuelled by ego rather than just, ya know, wanting to save her planet.

“Having the cheek to claim vindication” equalled making it possible to contact the Doctor and making Earth and the universe that much less doomed. How you can look at that and think “shallow attempt at glory” is beyond me. Might just be the actress’s performance or something subjective like that.

This is an argument about one of those things where both sides had varying shades of wrong and right to them. The Doctor was right to negotiate a truce between the Sycorax and Earth, but was wrong in bringing down an important figure in the politics of the day who was supposed to be in power for longer than she was,

I acknowledge that the whole mass murder of the Sycorax thing was wrong, but from her position it’s understandable. For the first half the Doctor wasn’t there, and chances were, he wouldn’t be there for every single extraterrestrial threat that menaced the planet.

Jones≠Green

Again, can you be more specific? Show me someone who thinks Harriet Jones was just as bad as Brian Green and I’ll show you someone with impossible standards.

List her moments of vaingloriousness as evidence.

Because only sometimes resorting to violence when necessary (especially while still in a weakened state, and not at full power)=superhero, apparently.

Where/when did I imply that comics were tech?

Just the PoC in the tech industry, then? Wow, that’s extensive. How ‘bout the ones in the comics industry? Are they terrible people too?

That would be his daughters’ jobs. Can’t escape the Newbie Angst, man!

He looks awesome.

If the writers know what’s good for them, they’ll have Danny and Colleen break up and stay friends.
