Well, I am. I didn't feel like I missed much skipping Man of Steel in theaters.

For better or worse, I DID like the incredibly ham-fisted, product-of-the-times issue of Marvel heroes coping with 9/11. Spider-man lives in New York. Having him swing in to help save people while a woman screams at him "why didn't you stop this?! Why couldn't you prevent this?" kinda got to me.
Oh, yeah, Reed Richards sucks. Never going to argue that.
I saw Man of Steel.
I got started with Sensational She-Hulk. It was a hilarious, off-beat, highly entertaining series. Loved her ever since (for her humor, not just for her body).
Remind me again why the animated series writers aren't allowed to do the movies? Because those guys NAILED it.
You reminded me…
DC didn't go with Gina Carrano for Wonder Woman… so I hope Marvel snatches her up to play She-Hulk.
At least Singer makes up for it with generally strong writing. Faithful to the comics? Not really, but if it was just some guy name Joe with ice powers or Bob the psychic leader, it would still be fairly solid writing.
Well, his writing is bad… AND he's unfaithful to the comics.
I have the issue that really explains it. JLA #1 volume 2.
Oh yeah. All the time. With Ladies. …
Even Batman & Robin made over 200+ million dollars… and that was more painful than a herpes outbreak.
I don't know. I found it to be a bit of a pain in the neck. It just didn't snap into place for me. Maybe there was a twist I didn't see coming, but the execution of it didn't exactly make my head spin.
As a self-proclaimed nerd that adores comics and comic book movies…
… I did stop watching David Goyer movies. I watched other nerdy comic book movies and shows instead. I've been a lot happier that way.
