I fully relate to this. I think back on some things that I did when I was in my late teens and early 20s and I’m disgusted with myself. Even if the people I treated that way weren’t uncomfortable or hurt by it...I feel horrible for treating women that way at all.

The economics argument is so disingenuous. Anyone investing in a new sports league in the US right now has to expect that it won’t turn a profit right away. Maybe not even all that soon! But compared to many other investments at that level, it’s a small amount of money being invested by billionaires and corporations…

There are almost certainly WPSL and/or UWS team(s) in your area! Second division needs love, too! But yeah, it’s incredible that some of the biggest markets in the country don’t have NWSL teams. Or that they fold, like the Breakers did here in Boston.
