Hopefully we get Oldtown soon.

I wouldn't compare the two. Glenn's "death" was a fakeout that only served the purpose of manipulating the audience. Nobody on the show saw it or suspected that he was dead because of it so it really didn't serve the story. In GoT, Jon actually died and then was resurrected. In the preview we got the line that the

Games… of Thrones????

My wife was holding our baby when that scene came on. She did not take it well. I'm just glad they cut away and didn't go for anything too graphic.

It's hard to work with live animals on a TV/movies, and probably even more so with a tight shooting schedule like GoT. Mixing horses and dogs into a battle scene would have been a nightmare to film and probably dangerous for the dogs too, so they just left them out. I would just assume that they ran off.

Yeah, I felt like this episode was more similar to the traditional episode 10. They normally do the big twist in 9 and then show the aftermath and set up he next season in 10. Since they put Jon's death in the finale last year, all of that stuff got bumped to this episode.

I just wonder if they will keep his tiger. I feel like if they cant be bothered to go through the trouble of showing Judith more than twice a season, they probably don't want to deal with a tiger on set either…

I dunno, I don't think that is the issue. They have always been willing to mix things up from the comics while still following the basic outline. Carol in the comics was a forgettable side character. They barely have anything in common.

Yep they are definitely from The Kingdom. Maybe Carol will take over Michonne's role from the comics as the romantic interest for their leader?

I know I'm still gonna watch the show, but I'll probably just watch the premiere to see who died and then wait until the rest is on Netflix so that I don't have to sit through months of fake outs and unnecessary cliffhangers with no payoff. If it had just been the poorly thought out cliffhanger in the finale, that

I only caught the beginning but it was pretty awkward watching him pretend like we all just watched something tragic take place when literally nothing happened.

The midseason finale already proved that. They had the perfect cliffhanger of Rick chopping off his girlfriend's hand and everything going to hell, but instead they cut the scene short and when that scene played out after the break, all of the momentum was lost and it was completely underwhelming.

Yes they have given one per season for Mad Men and Breaking Bad, but when it airs on TV they still drop the audio. In TWD, they Rack say "screwing" instead of "fucking" on the broadcast version when they are caught at Terminus, and then filmed another take with "fucking" which they used on the Blu-Ray version.

I still think it's gonna be Glenn. They were laying it on pretty thick with him staring at the photos of bashed in heads…

I don't think anyone at Hilltop has actually met Negan at this point. Don't some of them even suspect that he isn't real and that the Saviors just made him up as a tool to scare everyone? Or am I getting the show and the comics confused?

I think they used the versions with "fuck" in it on the blu-ray so maybe that is where the confusion is coming from…

I think Hayes is in New York working on a show. I'm assuming they intend to go back to the regular format when he's done or I don't think they would have kept it going.

He was certainly the only other good thing about the movie.

That's too bad. She was one of the only good things about that movie.
