I think I just realized why I love Bernie Sanders so much.
I think I just realized why I love Bernie Sanders so much.
This probably means the deal with her being in the Last of Us movie fell through. I doubt she would sign on for two zombie movies in a row…
except for those dirty rotten gays!! just think of all the sanctity of marriage they've destroyed!!
This showed up as "Fox is bringing back Firefly" in my RSS reader. Fuck everything.
Awesome. Really wish you guys still covered this show.
I bought a Mercedes-Benz SUV after watching Jurassic World last weekend.
Additional evidence: the show is scouting Girona, Spain as a new location for season 6, and it looks like it could definitely be used as Oldtown.
It's gotta be Loras vs. Lancel. The Mountain wouldnt fight for the faith, especially when it's implied that he's going to fight for Cersei against the faith later. That would also explain why Lancel got all buff this year.
This sounds one million percent more interesting than the Boba Fett origin story movie.
Yeah, my wife found the whole face thing hard to buy into. I tried to explain it but just settled on"it's magic" because, like you said, there doesn't seem to be a clear set of rules yet. I guess we will have to wait and see how the show approaches it, or if they even do the fusing it with your blood stuff.
I bet she wears the face of the dying little girl by the end of the season.
I thought for sure he was taking Arys Oakheart's role and getting his head chopped off this episode. Maybe he will realize that he's poisoned/dying and sacrifice himself by charging Areo Hotah so that Jamie can escape? I would hate for Bronn to die, but that might be a badass way to go out. At least it would be better…
The producers want 7 seasons, and that's also how long the actors are contracted for. Some people think HBO might ask them for a longer season 7 based on the show's success and split it into 2 parts like the final seasons of The Sopranos/Breaking Bad/Mad Men.
She did know it was coming. She probably wasn't expecting it to get as bad as it did but you can see it on her face during the bath scene and the the whole lead up to the wedding. She knew he was cruel from their dinner, and even if he wasn't, his family still slaughtered her mother and brother so of course she wasn't…
And what are you going to do when you wait 5 years for Winds only to find out that Harry the Heir does the exact same thing to Sansa?
Khal Drogo raped Dany. She gave about as much consent as Sansa did when she said she took Ramsy to be her husband. Neither one wanted to have sex but they both agreed to be married and by the cultural rules of this fictional world, that more or less equals consent. You can't say that one was rape and the other wasn't.…
I agree I think this was the strongest episode of the season so far, despite the Sand Snakes being kind of goofy. I thought the Tryion/Jorah stuff was great and they made Arya's storyline a lot more interesting than the books with a few little tweaks, like the stuff about the Hound and her lying to the little girl. I…
Wait are you saying that Drogo raped Dany in the show but not the books?
How can you say she's a victim without seeing where the story goes? Being raped doesn't make you weak or mean that you aren't a strong woman. Sansa knew that part of marrying Ramsy meant that she would have to consummate the marriage.
But it really seems like most of the complaints are coming from book readers who aren't mad that there was rape, but that it was a character they liked more who was raped.
