I don't understand how this is even a thing...

Yes and no. You can use sms and hangouts (chat) via the hangouts app, however, at this point in time, they're not integrated into the same thread. For example, if you start an sms conversation with "billybob", then later start chatting via hangouts (not sms) it will start it in a different thread. Any future messages

Just a new hangouts app. You can choose whether to use it to send/receive SMS or not. Just like the Facebook Messenger app (even though they're going to turn off that feature in future updates). And because it's just an app feature, and only requires Google Play services, it should work on any phone that has the

There are also .apk's of it floating around on the Internet that you could get your hands on. Check out Android Police. That's what I did, since I just couldn't wait :)

Definitely

That's a feature of the new hangouts app. It should be pushed out to you within a couple weeks, assuming you're on a newer version of Android.

The link for the full list of Amazon apps in the Amazon Coin section doesn't seem to work.

I'm with you, I bought it seeing a lot of potential, but that potential has never come to fruition for me. I have yet to find an ifttt recipe that really validates the purchase for me.

Good call @AlphaGeek, the two orgs run together in my mind.

How does the taste of infused oil compare with just adding some lemon juice/zest to whatever you're cooking?

June (First Friday), National Donut Day: Surprisingly enough, National Donut Day was invented by the Salvation Army, not donut retailers. Pick up a free donut at Dunkin' Donuts, Krispy Kreme, and possibly other treats places.

CloudMagic is also available on Android. I'm interested to see how these two apps compare...

I think the difference is that these have offline functionality

What about Plex?! Granted, most of my usage of Plex happens on my TV and mobile devices, but having it available as a native app on the laptop makes it function great as the music player on my laptop.

Will there be any intentional overlap between this post and Dealzmodo? Or are both created independently?

In Press, there's a Readability option, which makes the whole article available while also removing images and other items that don't immediately pertain to the article. Some may not want all those images removed, but I think it works very well.

Thanks for the recommendation. It looks pretty cool, and is looking like it will replace my Clip to Evernote extension as well

I'd be really surprised if they didn't follow through with at least some of those features he mentioned. Especially the voice calling, since that was something that existed with tall, but was taken away with hangouts

I believe what you're seeing is alternate contact info that MSFT uses in case you forget your password. Enabling multi-factor authentication would require you to input a code that they'd send either to your alternate email or phone number, just to login to your account.
