I want this, a white Fiero, and an Audi 5000 to complete my Bueller household cars.

I feel like there’s no way those stickers were on there 35 years ago. My guess is the seller bought them on ebay then attached them for some absolutely unknown reason.

I keep asking myself who acquires this kind of showroom-mint time capsule and then throws on a bunch of bullshit decals that would *never* have been on a T&C? It’s making me angry.

I recently went from a 2012 Volt (91+ octane required) to a 2017 Volt (regular is fine) and I am so thrilled. Don’t put premium in anything that doesn’t specifically call for it on the gas door. It’s literally useless for anything other than a turbo that changes combustion ratios when it senses higher octane, and

Oh don’t get me wrong it’s slow as hell but it wants to leap off the line if I use the go pedal like a normal car.

Are sensitive throttles a Subaru thing? My friend’s Crosstrek makes me want to take off my shoe so I can use my big toe on the gas pedal to avoid snapping my neck at every stop sign.

I presume it will only get discovered in the case of an accident, although I have no idea what kind of ride you’d actually be in for if that happened.

I used Silvercar once and I have to say, if money was no object, I would never use another company. The time I used it, though, it was the cheapest option because I was traveling with a group of friends and we all needed to use the car, and Silvercar doesn’t charge extra for additional drivers. If I rented some

I’ve also found that if you have a particularly nice flight attendant that made your flight enjoyable, make sure the airline hears about it. You’re not going to “get” anything for it, but you’ll probably give them at least a smile if not a good mark in their record.

I assumed a VW would randomly disable the fuel pump, injectors, or spark because they’re controlled by VW electronics.

A new excuse to total your car for a dent or a chip.

No qualifiers needed, it’s a dick move.

Yes, it’s the only way Neons did power windows. I remember looking back in the day when I was car shopping and being really unpleasantly surprised.

I can almost guarantee that despite that options list, leather, etc - it has crank windows in the back. I always thought that was the *weirdest* way to save money and just screamed cheap. I can’t think of another car that did power windows that way.

The original Neon was adorable. The 2nd gen looked like it was designed by committee.

Oh weird. Didn’t have that issue!

I like this a lot, particularly since it’s got the 3.1 vs the 3.4 (which I’m sure is why it’s running today) - but this is too much money.

I had both those issues on my ‘12, if you’re talking about the click at low speeds when you put your foot on the throttle or take it off.

I’m on my third Volt and I can attest that the battery holds up very well. The only things I noticed that affected the range were cold and choice of tires - time and mileage didn’t seem to hurt mine at all.

If not for the stop-sale on used Bolts because of this recall I might own one now. I ended up with another Volt instead (and I think I’m happy with that choice.)
