I live in bro-dozer country, they’re usually too tall to go into under or above-ground parkades. It’s great when the trash takes care of itself.

If a truck like this is intended to go on road trips of any kind or off-roading, something like this is pretty much essential.

I read the Canadian version’s fine print. Here, Volvo is actually offering a 24 month lease with 3% APR and $999 payments for 24 months on the S60 or V60 R-Design. After 12 months you can terminate the initial agreement and get a new one to change cars, but I’m sure that will mean signing another lease (if your

My RX8 does this. It limits to 5500, 7500 and 9500 RPM according to temperature and it has a red light in the tach showing where the limit is.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the supposed rotary range extender they were planning for the MX-30.

If it’s anything like the RX8, the back door only opens when the front door is open and there’s no way to easily open the front door from the back seat. So no one is getting out of the back seat if they’re not let out.

It could like that aunt that had to sue her 10 year old nephew. She fell and broke her wrist when the nephew hugged her, and she was forced to sue someone before homeowner’s insurance would pay for the medical bill. And she could only sue the kid, because he was the only other involved.

If it doesn’t require a gearbox, and the permanent magnets are all aligned in 1 direction, how to you reverse?

Is that a re-badged Fiat Strada?

I can’t stand rocking when I’m in here

Ah, so it was not just me that spent hours watching that guy fix traffic...

It was something on those lines, the shop was infringing on their IP. The owners are not going to jail, but most likely will be crushed by FCA and VW’s legal teams.

Technically it’s not. They were busted for copyright infringement on the bodies, not for making cars illegally.

Now playing

Here’s a video from the the guys who got raided, it was just posted:

I found a report (in Portuguese), apparently it was a father and son operation that would take custom orders from whatsapp, buy the fiberglass shells from someone in Brasilia and put it in a car chassis, then register the car as prototype.

A Mustang is a $100k car in Brazil, these replicas would have some old Ford or VW engines and probably not even a turbo.

Damn, It had been almost 20 years since I last saw that video...

Yeah, I caught some shit like that on my dashcam. And at the time it was a Moebius, an actual action cam hanging under the mirror, not hidden in the least.

It’s because your camera only have to capture a small area really close. A security camera has to get a wide area far away. The action probably happens in a tiny portion of the frame, so when they crop all the useless parts away, only a handful of pixels are left.

What is this Ferrari’s VIN then? Copart doesn’t list the complete VIN, only the manufacturer/model part.
