That slideshow format stresses me out SO MUCH that I will NEVER know which movies I need to watch to calm down. Kinja authors: just say NO to the slideshow template! ;)

i personally think that burger looks disgusting

Thank you!  These slideshows can fuck right off.

Disgusting. There’s so many of them though. Which one

Instead they’re focusing on GTA Online... Which is making them hundreds of millions of dollars.

That’s dumb as hell. All you have to do is put a warning on whatever you’re going to talk about. It’s that simple, and so a person like me doesn’t have to have all Star Wars, FF7, Sixth Sense, and various show ending ruined for them, seriously, because people can’t shut the fuck up about things, and remember that time

I hate the “science says people like spoilers” argument, because it completely misses the point: that, while one can replay an experience as many times as they like, they can only go in fresh once. Spoiling a twist denies the reader half of the experience.

Its more a case of rights holders looking for new ways to sell the same thing over and over again.

Go fuck yourself you CCP piece of shit.

It’s funny that the only people who tend to use the phrase “cancel culture” are those that oppose it. Does everything you disagree with have to fit in a nice tidy little box with a name tag on it?

Playing the game itself is tacitly endorsing companies that continue to extend the reach of the CCP beyond China proper. It doesn’t matter that it’s free, the more people that play, the more popular it will seem and the more people that will play, it’s a self-perpetuating cycle. You can only help to break that cycle

It’s not about refusing it at all cost. You’re trying to reduce it down to an all or nothing argument, when it’s not. It’s about doing your part where it’s at least reasonable. It is not at all troublesome to just not play a specific video game. It’s not the same as giving up your career or starving for the sake of
