This isn't about saving "newspapers" in terms of "Printing news on pieces of paper and sending it to people" Its about saving newspapers in terms of comprehensive news stories put in context with quality editing. Even a cursory glance at the linked policy recommendation shows this. Read "The Current State of the News"

If you look at %age growth rather than unit numbers, every console beats the "portable" group, and I believe attach rates are higher for consoles.

Honestly? I'm pretty sure that they needed their own section since they clearly plan on offering 200+ DLC packages with every EA Sports game.

Only Activision would define something with 12 million subscribers as something that needs "more broad appeal"
