I couldn’t think of just one terrible thing Elon has done, so here’s a bunch.

I liked the first season a lot even if it had some quirks. The setting and the characters had a refreshing “Eastern European dark fairytale” -feeling, the jumping timeline, monster of the week -structure and Cavill’s performance, of course, were all highlights.

So there are reasons to dislike the books. they contain a LOT of misogynist material that was prevalent in fantasy during the 80's when they were written. The fact that the series has avoided a lot of that while also bringing out a lot of the good parts of the books shows that the writers care about the material.

They didn’t remove any characters, they replaced the least popular and most problematic game mode(and maps) 2cp with Push which automatically means 5 maps went with it because they are specifically made for that mode while adding6 new ones, and btw maps like blizzworld are still in the game, just not in rotation…
