As were the wildfires in Fort McMurray, Alberta....
I’ve had my hybrid now for like 4 and a half years and the last time I had my front brakes inspected, the guy said that there’s still something like 80% left on the pad.
Actually....you can make it give you whatever sound you want. ;) Also just software.
That’s a bit of a (common) myth/misunderstanding.
Damn government regulations...

“Mix that in with power-sucking driverless technology, and you’ve got a recipe for fun!”
Oh mec, si tu détestes la France, alors tu vas vraiment détester la Norvège.
Isn’t driving in a stick-shift GREAT!?
Not overkill.
My “closest running on empty” story is where the trip computer basically shows me I drove 19 miles past empty.
Two disclaimers though:
1) I put my cluster into engineering test mode.
2) Yay electrification! (The electric/hybrid system was what got me to the gas station. ;))
In other words, the distance to empty was…
I think it’s a mixed bag.
You can autocross ANYTHING!
It’s only in US/Canada where 5 door sedans is uncommon/unusual.

Kudos to your mom for being such a sport. Literally.
There are valid points but I think that some of the points might also be less or misrepresented.
Great interview. I also used to be in crash safety simulations engineering at a Tier 1 and Volvo is long regarded by many in the industry as the leader in vehicle safety. (They spend a lot researching this area.)
