I would like to learn more about it - should I just google like “dead bodies hanging off highway in Mexico” or something?

朝太,

Run the CAE model (PROPERLY - i.e. no rigid RBE2s for the bushings for example, use CBUSH elements instead) and I bet you that it’s actually inherent in the design of the suspension system/architecture.

My biggest “complaint” about FCA’s UConnect system is that the volume controls on the steering wheel (and also the source selector) is actually on the BACK of the steering wheel - which you CAN’T SEE.

“We Have No Idea How People In This Insane Audi Crash Survived”

Crash safety engineering - that’s how.

The occupant cell/structure(s) did its job. That’s how.

I just have one question.

“...some believe it’s the lowest-cost way to increase fuel economy and lower emissions. “

Not sure if you have kids or are planning to have kids or not, but I am sure that if or when you do, you’ll be the first one in line for an $1800 Amish solid wood crib instead of the $100-300 cheapy from Target/Toys ‘R Us/Walmart, right?

hahaha...I see what you did there. ;)

“What both websites did mention was that Fichter somehow exited the car under his own power after this massive wreck”

Suggestion: re-read the headline again, then re-read my question again.

At least got their aftermath statement correct though.

So what would you tell his former parents?

“...most of the world has worse roads than in your area. People in India and Africa are driving the smallest cars of all.”

“The salient point is that it yields better fuel economy and that alone is worth it to me.”

But that’s part of my question right - how much of an improvement are you getting, even if you’re doing the statistical analysis by randomly sampling time; and how much is premium vs. regular.

Very difficult to do while the vehicle is in motion. Not to mention dangerous, and in some jurisdictions, illegal.

I have it on my iPhones as well, but whenever an address, for example, shows up in a text - “clicking” on it will bring it up in Apple Maps, rather than Google maps. :(
