Man. You're doing it again. I didn't say that. If I had it certainly would be juvenile and untrue. I said I skimmed them for information about ego or anger and addressed that. Putting words in quotes doesn't actually make them something someone said, you know that right?

Obviously, I'm pretty much amazing.

I'm not acknowledging that probably because I didn't bother to read it. To be totally honest, I've skimmed your last few posts to just see how you'll claim it's about my ego or anger and addressed only that, because it had become more interesting.

I have problems with college professors for the same reason other people hate "customers": my job requires me to interact with them, they think they know more about it than they do, and they're often dismissive and insulting to total strangers, like you, about it. That's not a deep seated issue. That's pretty basic.

Yes. That was the whole point of this conversation. I thought that was messed up, so I engaged you. How was that not clear before now?

But then I couldn't waste your time.

Is that what you think questions are for, only to acquire knowledge from someone with more?

But you've pointed out that Germany did not put into place stricter gun control laws except for Jews. I'm pretty sure you would also agree that Germany was totalitarian not simply for its treatment of Jews but because of its treatment of everyone — I mean, the secret police arrested many non-Jewish Germans for

But would you say Germany was a totalitarian regime or not?

You've given me nothing to argue against.

Ah here we are, Godwin's law.

Ah here we are, Godwin's law.

Of course you think it's about ego.

Ugh, you can engage with the work as it's given to you by imagining how or why a different approach, different camera angle, different plot, different plot pacing, a different whatever might effect the reception of the work. It can be done well. Or it can be done badly.

Knowing this is your job, I feel a bit sorry for you. Let me help.

Just so you know, the study of criticism is my life, my job, and all my degrees. We can keep at this if you like. I'll start citing criticism about criticism, we'll get super meta.

The fact that you think that's not inflammatory again suggests that you have little knowledge of writing in any genre. I really can't think of a worse insult about writing aside from "boring"

Again, I'm not making that claim. You're allowing my words "wrong by definition" to mean whatever you want them to mean.
