I'd accept that, but Oliver's first year on the island also offered some pretty impressive motivators that made sense of it. Same with Sarah. And five years is more than most people actually in combat receive, so no big deal there.
Still really annoyed that Thea is turning into a combat ready badass after less than a year of training. All the people that previously told me she's actually not and Malcolm was holding back to make her think she's a badass can now suck it: Oliver noted her advancement as well.
