They don’t even try to make sense anymore around here. It’s clearly not a travel.

If only someone had written a song about this sort of situation that he could have referred to.

You may be right, but it seems more likely that there was a roster building reason for this request that was explained and meritorious. You have to do a lot more work to convince me that an agent for a major star did this for no reason or was fooled into doing this.

Everyone blaming Melo is absolutely delusional. He got the rug pulled out from him because he wasn’t that good. He wasn’t even close to as good as people make him out to be. Melo was the much much much much better option than him by a mile.

Paul has literally been the #1 mentor of young point guards in the league for the past 8 years or so. Eric Bledsoe, Donovan Mitchell and many others have praised Paul for his teaching efforts and abilities and willingness to help them out.

Russell Westbrook @ 30 is better than CP3 @ 34

A:  Compared to basically any other taco in the world, Taco Bell tacos are horrible.  People defending them are fucking crazy and have obviously never had even a semi decent taco in their lives.

When you emphasize follow through you can better control the direction, arc, and spin of the ball. It’s not the actual leaving your hand up that helps, it’s the act of emphasizing it in the first place that does.

So Chris Thompson writes the pro-Rockets articles and Burneko gets the anti-Rockets pieces? Alright, now I know who to read at least.

The Warriors barely won their him games against the Rockets as well.

The guy who wrote this article has never played basketball.  Despite all the other stuff mentioned, it's dangerous to not give players a place to land.  The warriors knew exactly what they were doing, and those missed calls did change the game.  It's very hard to focus on your shot when you know people are purposely

Do you care to mention the number of free throws he has taken so far this series when you say the refs blow the whistle for him as a Pavlovian response? No, because that undercuts the “Harden gets a whistle every play smh he’s ruining basketball!” narrative Deadspin loves so much. In games 1 and 2, he attempted 3 and

You’re an idiot, here’s the other angle where he clearly takes a hard elbow to the chin/throat.

Am I one of the few that doesnt really think this is a big deal? Watching ESPN right now and Jay Williams said what I was thinking. As long as he didnt put his hands on him, it’s fine. Players know who Izzo is, he loves his players, but hes a bit of a hothead. He prides his teams on effort and if you aren’t giving it,

Then came 2007 and Donaghy, whose personal dumpster fires devastated the business of officiating, and now everyone agrees based on nothing more than their own particular oxen being gored that all the games are fixed.

“You don’t call your own fouls--your name isn’t Michael Jordan.”

How about players, supposedly the best in the world just shoot free throws better. If the result of the foul was a very high likelihood of points, then maybe you know people would try to challenge the basket and not just foul in transition. It always boggles my mind that we need to change rules because pro athletes

Consensus among people who don't watch him play.

Same shit everyone has orgasms over when Conor does it

My friends and I tried to run the amoeba in church league basketball, but since none of us were Stacey Augmon, it didn’t work very well.
