I think the NBA and the refs have to be the ones to correct this. Many NBA players have said if you dont complain you wont get calls. So some of these rules need to be clarified and not so ambigous, and some of these refs need better training honestly.

Take into context that Mark Cuban complained to the League about Yao getting too many calls and suddenly Yao was called for everything right after. 

Its always been this way in the NBA. Not sure why people act like this is new. You can find videos of guys int he refs face going back decades. Sometimes its legit anger other times its not. They do it in the NBA because its literally the only way to get officials to call certain things. Even Kawahi has started to to the refs more this year because he and the raptors figured out thats the only way to get calls.
