Respecting him requires them to actually watch games.  They’ll look at the box score and see 17 Free throws, Ignore the fact that 3 were Technical freethrows, and 6 were Legit “did not give him space to land” fouls on three’s.

Yes we do. At this point the hate isnt even based on facts or reality. If you know a guy is good at drawing fouls and baiting you into doing it, and you still fall for it, its not his fault.

The Decision wasnt to replace Ariza with melo though. Ariza left because phoenix wanted to pay him 15 million, which for houston would have been stupid. For a 1 year deal. Melo was brought in because he was on the vet minimum and would have to accept a lesser role or get waived.
