Is anyone here *really* shocked Bethesda’s engine sucks?

How the conversation should have gone:

To be fair, there have been attempts to use Regigigas (and Slacking) in Doubles over the years, using another pokemon that can swap abilities to allow the use of their superior base stats. So far, no dice.

Better idea: Have the government do it directly rather then the extra cost of essentially paying for private business to do it.

Bunny Hopping is self explanatory: Jumping around like a Bunny.

Not if it hurts the economy!

Here’s the pre-baked counterpoint to anyone who argues “But the Constitution doesn’t say”:

I note historically in D&D Monk has *always* been a bit of a juxtaposition of different features, and frankly 5e is the first time you can argue the class in general is “not the absolute worst in the game”, if not “good”.  Point remains: It’s always been the oddball in terms of overall design and implementation.

Almost every non-magical class gains a ton by taking two levels in Warlock, just for Agonizing Blast. Heck, even some semi-magical classes (Bard comes to mind) benefit from having a semi-reliable long-range attacking option.

On point 4: I’ve found that speedrunners (along was TAS’ers) tend to have the absolute most technical knowledge about the games they play, as they are looking for every efficiency possible.

I’ve always been in favor of shooting revealing your location, and would farther argue that louder weapons and more sustained fire should carry for longer distances.

The natural outcome of breaking the ACC Union back during the Raegan years.  Low pay, high workload, and shock, no one wants to work the job.

Yeah, but that’s per viewer. If you have a popular streamer with 10k viewers each hitting that script, there could be a performance impact.

To be fair, nowadays most graphics/audio assets are external to the core program, and in theory so long as the underlying data formats are known it would be possible to do drop-in replacements (hence why graphics mods for PC games are so commonplace), although without the source code you would obviously be bound by

I’m sorry, that’s gross negligence. Everywhere I’ve worked, all core software, in development or otherwise, are located on our central server which itself undergoes daily/weekly/monthly/yearly backups, which are stored and catalogued off-site.

Software Engineer speaking: I find it unfathomable for something of that nature not to be backed up to a repository located on a server that undergoes standard daily/weekly/monthly/yearly backups that are stored for an extended period of time (with the yearly backups *never* being tossed).

The game also punishes you for reloading before you’re empty, with those bullets being left in the magazine. However, you can hold a button to have your character combine half-empty mags into full ones. And you can always just double-tap the reload button to instantly drop your old mag and quickly reload a new one.

To be fair, it’s quite possible BF2 is to retro for the writer of this article. :/

To be fair, a feature like that fits more in sim shooters rather then your faster paced BF’s and CoDs.

Once gain: Give us back player managed servers, and these problems GO AWAY.
