Disagree.  It’s not just the cost to keep GM running, you have to consider the effects that loss of employment would have on the greater economy.  GM going bankrupt would have cost the economy a ton more then the cost to keep it up and running.

I’ll say it again: While I disagree about GM outright giving up Sedans, they are absolutely correct to slim down.

Agreed. GM certainly is trying to focus in too many of the wrong areas. They’re very late to the party, and are desperately trying to catch up.

Have to fly there from LGA a few times a year. Security’s been better the last few times I’ve been there.  I find it OK, but consider the comparison I’ve got.
