Restomods are by and large bad

I didn’t even like it much when it was in the movie.

A tasteless movie mod that looks garish and ridiculous when all they needed to do was have an original Mustang Cobra for an already really bad movie.

Might as well tell Boomer car guys to stop wearing white tennis shoes, pristine mom jeans and golf shirts.  

Yes please build more mustangs that are different than just this cookie cutter copying. Do different and be better.

I’m surprised there’s even a market for new builds in this style. I don’t think anyone under the age of 60 thinks these restomod boomer cars are cool, or at least cool enough to want to buy one. I have to imagine anyone who wants one of these already has one.

Or maybe someone chopped it up and turned it into a ute.

The photo with the TPMS fault and an 1/8 tank of gas is really the chef’s kiss on the whole thing.  I’m guessing the door was open when the photo was taken but I can totally see a faulty door switch sensor being part of the deal too.

I’ve had my Maverick for almost 2 years and I can assure you it’s fine; just different from what people are used to. Plus it does cool things, like automatically shifts to park when you turn off the ignition.

That price indicates the seller is trying to recoup a lot of the labor. Plus it's not a Hemi,  ND. Smyth kits are pretty good but he rear treatment just looks crumpled rather than styled. 

Maybe, but I’m willing to take that chance. If people were punished properly for their crimes, we wouldn’t have to worry about most types of crimes. Drunk driving and harmed someone one, death penalty, that’s one less person to ever drunk drive, because all drunk drivers are habitual offenders. Did you rob someone?…

Nah, I don’t even drink. I don’t need to be inconvenience because others aren’t responsible. They should just execute this guy, and anyone else who causes an accident while driving under the influence.

Sure, technology can assist. There are multiple manufacturers TODAY that offer some kind of integrated intoxicated driver prevention (Volvo comes to mind) in other countries.

That’s all you think he deserves? He should be run down by his Kia and buried under the closest prison.

I was stuck on a plane for 7hrs sitting on the runway of Atlanta cause the power had just gone out. Luckily immediately got hotel room spent the night without my belongings then was able to make the 30min flight to my destination of Chattanooga the next morning. I would have definitely just driven the rest of the way…

I love when people put on a bunch of extra lights to make their car look like a cheap toy from the dollar store. It just really does it for me, all the flishy flashy and colors.

Being subtle is hard. Anyone can go nuts with fibreglass and paint. Anyone can stance a car, lift a truck, whatever. It’s easy to be absurd. Being subtle is a talent that not many modders posses.

I like mods that make a vehicle look more polished, more thought-out than what came from the factory.

Anything over $4k on these better be swapped or mint.
