Well, he did end the war in Iraq and he never took credit for “ending” Afghanistan since it’s ongoing (at a far lower level).

Of course they can do it so fast, what with all the experience dealing with Godzilla.

You’re confusing Americans with Japan. Also the internet.

Japan was never complaining, they were applauding it. it was white Americans that were complaining about GITS.

They realized they weren’t in China and thus ended their service.

Oh no. Did this movie upset your precious feelings? Because Japanese themselves, the creators of the original and the whole world is pretty much happy with this. Glad you got your 15 minutes though. Surely you will sleep better tonight.

OMG, what’s with this Anime-washing of a perfectly good Japanese story!?

Androids don’t have a race my man

> Hollywood, if you want to go whitewash with your movie, don’t call it with the same title.

Last I heard, both Masamune Shirow, and Mamoru Oshii are really liking what they’re doing. When the series creator, and the director of the original movie are both digging it, they must be doing something right.

Why should they do AoT?Japan already did with an all Japanese cast.

I think it is you who don’t understand the concept ‘mmo’

“You kind of want your horse to be sinking, as if it were quicksand,” Fivexual explained.

Again, you are just being overly critical. “Wiseau-level cringe.” I know its cool to tear DC movies apart, but at least be slightly on point.

You’re being over critical if you think they are not just average films. A terrible movie is The Room.

I think the funniest part about this is how Western audiences are getting so much more bent out of shape about this than Japanese audiences. Most of the reactions I’ve read/heard have been mixed leaning toward indifferent.

Jesus get over yourself man, there is far more bad stuff going on this day and age to get angry over, also Japanese people respect their OWN culture not others, same as we dont give a shit what happens in Africa or Asia.

I’m sure they do, But you can’t say the US isn’t the same. Kids today STILL don’t know the truth about “Thanksgiving” Schools still teaching that pilgrims made friends with the indigenous people. US history hardly if ever teach the Atrocities that the US have done to the native Americans and still do today, Or how

It’s a damn shame that Hitler basically killed off a line of uniforms and an entire style of mustache

You mean like the way people buy what they like and don’t buy what they don’t? How is that not “fans dictating to creators how to shape their output”?
