The Slate Political Gabfest does a fascinating job at discussing both liberal and conservative buffoonery without overly advocating on either side. It’s a delight to listen to weekly. It’s also, I believe, much older than the teens. 

See, I loved the Barrymore era Angels movies...but I loved the campy comedy and action blend. I’ve only seen one trailer for the new Angels movie, but it didn’t seem very funny, so I missed it this week..I may try for next weekend. And I flat out hated the TV show...as a gay man, it had nothing for me.

Well, if you watch the show, you’ll know it was because alcoholic Becky made a mistake and slept with someone without protection because she thought she was too old to have a baby. 

I don’t have drift, but my Switch’s left Joycon hasn’t properly clicked into place since 4 days after I bought it (two years ago.) It’s occasionally annoying, as it’s easy to press too hard and make the system think it’s detached, but that’s my issue. 

That’s hilarious - same here. I started the game back up after a 6 year break because of all the recent Kotaku coverage and just did Titan the first time. Really annoying boss fight. Also playing as a healer and on ps4 so that was really a tense fight. 

The initial draw was based on a lot of supposed creative content from big DC names like Jim Lee and Geoff Johns’ roles in it. Then, it being a f2p on PS4 in those first couple of years when the PS4 was actually a success no one expected and there was less to play on there gave it a big boost. 

Are you sure? I just resubbed to FFXIV and had to use my non-collectors PS3/4 version and couldn’t use my old PC Collectors edition because PC and Playstation purchases and subs weren’t transferrable. And that was 12 days ago. I know the servers are the same so you can play with both PC and PS4 players, but purchases…

I remember these guys. Not for their politics, but for being the unfunny ones on their old IGN and Kinda Funny podcasts. No opinion on the cancelled show; they’re not entertaining to me and no one at all I’ve spoken to in years have followed Colin especially onto his new ventures because he’s just not entertaining.

Yep. I have eaten there a handful of times over the past 30 years and it’s the school cafeteria of fast food chicken. The humble McChicken sandwich, maligned as it is by many, has more flavor and crunch... and costs a fraction of the price.

Gotta ask an honest question here: what were you expecting from a movie about the gaming icon most known for slash fiction? I’m just happy there was no hedgehog sex in the trailer...

Yeah it’s a show best watched while half paying attention on air, then with a binge when it hits Netflix to catch whatever insane BS you missed that turned someone into a robot, or messiah, or time traveller or whatever.

Just a hopefully helpful response here - Wizards of the Coast has released a public API that allows developers to contact their database of all the Magic cards. Most CCG’s out there do not have a similar API, so that’s an issue right there for other games.
