With the kids in the masks, I’ll admit I’ve not seen or read Children of the Corn, but I got more of a low men from the Dark tower feel. Things wearing the skins of people wearing the faces of animals just aligned for me. Admittedly, I’ve just finished a re-reading of the Dark Tower, so that’s probably why.
