Thank you! Perfect advice IMO. People get so wrapped up in needing validation back these days, they miss the very clear fact that if someone’s not responding to you online they either don’t want to respond or a higher priority has come up. If it’s the former you don’t want to waste your time and if it’s the latter

The first episode decent. No young Voldemort getting crunk yet so you know...

Yeah, I hate when they pull this “Jesus is all about saving lives, not killing, and smiling literaly ten minutes before when Morgan doesn’t brain a Savior, now is plotting with Maggie their “eeeeveeel plan” to may them pay.

Most recently, he got a job two or three episodes back (the episode where they threw a party to gloat over all their patronizing friends) for a billionaire and then lost the job during the party.

That’s...well, that’s what we’ve come to expect of this show I guess.

So, I watched, but how the eff did Eugene get away from Daryl and Rosita? I have totally missed that. I went from him being brought through the fence after being told about the hole to him showing back up at the factory all hyped up on sugar.

i love pasta but you overcook and underseason that and i’ll be pushing that plate away as well.

I dunno..he’s pretty clear in that the best steak fries are the tip bits without the huge wedge of unseasoned potato in the middle...ie, the regular frenched fry bits.

Amen. Unlimited fries my ass. Why you threatening me Red Robin? If I’m there I’m already settling for your trifling bougie burger.

See, I like wedge potatoes for a number of reasons. 1. They have a better ratio than steak fries; the triangular shape increases the crispy surface to interior ration. 2. The cooking technique makes for a crispier than normal fry. 3. They frequently are battered fries, which I find a delicious alternative and a good

I’d be perfectly OK with the fried mashed potato. Unfortunately, it’s a “fried mashed potato with no butter, cream, or salt..ie, it’s a boiled potato.” I’ve had a LOT of boiled potatoes in my past. That’s not for me.

For me, I’m in Kevin’s camp. Steak fries are inferior and it’s a proportion issue. Even that rare, 1/100 properly cooked steak fry with a crispy exterior will have a mealy, bland interior because to properly cook the interior, you’d have to overcook the exterior.

Too weird. I’ve done rice cookers and ended up tossing them; it took up too cabinet space for a limited use item. Rice has so many variations you should know and use different tools as needed. And almost all of them won’t work in a rice cooker, so why invest in a single style device that’s bulky and expensive?

I could totally see him as a human version of the Beast telling the story from another view. Given the Beast/Xavier dynamic from the the recent X-men movies, and his status of “super scientist specializing in biology, mutations and chemistry” he would make an easy survivor of the old X-Men to put in place. He’s just

Enablers allow or encourage behavior. As I’ve described, no, I’m not doing that. If you’d bothered to read my post I point it out there. I also explained how I fight it, again well enough above.

This is a conundrum I struggle a lot with these days. Here’s the thing, and it applies to sexism, homophobes, transphobes, and a lot of other hate based thinkers:

More importantly on the Dan front, in the only really empathetic plot of the season, he was off in California for most of the season helping take care of his mom and ends up having an affair, the fallout of which was great. Otherwise, yeah, the show transformed into a season long trolling of the TV comedy genre, with

Amen! Roseanne herself is clearly not the focus she was in the original show, and it’s a nice change. This is clearly becoming Sara Gilbert’s show, and the show’s got some phenomenal writers who’ve handled an actor with a long personal history of being problematic respectfully while also making her clearly come off as

Monet is great, and Vixen impressed me a lot as well. But man, as a big guy seeing Kalorie dance her ass off, she’s made herself a place in my heart too.
