RL could easily have had cross play, and the only one to be against it was Sony. Fact. Anything beyond that is irrelevant.

Literally none of this is true. Sony is not responding as soon as the issue got attention, it was first brought up when rocket league went to xbox and the devs said cross play was being held back by sony.

It still absolutely boggles my mind that Nintendo of all companies would jump on that train so easily.  They’ve always been so backwards in terms of online that having them go “Yeah sure, sign into XBox Live on our console” is just crazy.

Offline play or no sale for me.  I want to be able to play regardless of internet status.  If all consoles becomes streaming machines I may just have to settle for my older consoles.
