I have a friend who was QA at EA for 7 years and then moved on to Radical Entertainment and then United Front Games. I think he was getting $11 at EA and eventually something like $15+ at UFG. He had lots of OT so 1.5x and 2x pay can really add up on those 80+ hour weeks.

On a related note, I liked the arcade versions of Spikeout and Slashout. Unlike Die Hard Arcade and Dynamite Cop, those didn't make it onto home consoles except for a Spikeout Battle Street which I still haven't played yet I own it but too lazy to pull out the old Xbox.
