I have a friend who has been a 3D artist at NST for 15+ years now. Even when he didn't have a project, Nintendo would not lay anyone off. He said he'd go in, find something to do even if it's just reorganizing things.

Before Absolution, I only ever played the original and only halfway through but I enjoyed Absolution. Story was and most levels seemed less open than the Chinatown but still had a great time sneaking around.
