@pretendekinda: Your defense is short-sighted. There are people with above-average, modern gaming systems that either can't run the game or can barely run it at an acceptable frame rate. Yes, the game looks great, but it's not THAT great to require such horrible performance.

@Lockisezmode: Square Enix basically treated us like garbage, assuming millions would just flock to their gaming experience so they could just do whatever they wanted. Now that people are abandoning it left and right, they need us again.

@phor11: Square Enix's ultimate goal in all of this is to wear down people's expectations SO much that they can release absolutely nothing in the future and people will praise them.

@nilych: The bonus item is crap, too. Like all the bonus items. The shoes give you bonus movement speed for 15 minutes every 24 hours. Useless.

@Feral_NK: I dunno, he should have fired those developers if they were the same ones who made FFXI. The game was okay, but it was chock full of terrible programming and optimization, even for back then.

It's like releasing a game with nothing but a black screen then releasing a few patches to "improve gameplay" by adding graphics to the game. You're only impressing the blind fanboys.
