@Harpo: There's a big difference between "oh the president can't operate a video game console" and "the president is wanted for mass murder". Just saying... I know it's just a joke though.

@ParasiteX: That's exactly the problem. DirectX is a disgustingly inferior technology to OpenGL. Companies need to stop programming for it.
LOL I can bet that Kotaku wouldn't dare put up a story like this if it were Obama.
@ColdFire: Yeah I did the training. It was pretty basic. I guess the biggest gripe now are all the Mac haters. Ha ha.
Ugh. I'm so bad! I guess that's what happens when you jump into a game that other people have already mastered over the past few years.
@ParasiteX: Then bother to say "Source games run like crap on a Mac..." Although I have noticed that the performance of TF2 so far is iffy on my fully loading Mac. I hope they tune the performance.
@Ethereus: Awesome. Can't stand when games aren't made cross-platform compatible for network play. There's nothing about a platform that makes it particularly special as long as the interfaces to and from the network are the same on both ends.
@aheetbaybees: Ah okay, yeah, the wording seemed to imply that it was a subscription-based game. Cool, well, in any case, $10 is too good a price to pass up. Add me on Steam, guys, and tear a n00b to pieces. :D
"And it's doing so by letting everyone play TF2 this weekend for free..." Uh, wait a sec, I have to pay to play this game (besides the obvious cost of purchasing the download)?!
@ParasiteX: LOL Oh randomly unqualified, uninformed comments. How we love thee.
I'm excited about the 4-player cooperative multiplayer. Anyone wanna be my friend? :)
@Beardbeardly: Ha ha. Good point. I never thought about it that way. Japan definitely has a thing for making adults seem so stupid and unnecessary.
@Noyse: I think the portable line of FFT games were decent, FFT for PS1 being my favorite game as well. The move from the console, however, definitely made it worse though. I'm still dreaming of a dark, full-blown sequel to FFT. *sigh*
@Beardbeardly: Why? Because you don't feel like a pedophile when you feel attracted to them? :D
@kasplat: DQ8 was a really good one. The story of all DQ games, in my opinion, is always really bland and boring. The music and gameplay are usually what do it for me. Definitely not a "jizz in my pants" series for me, but I can enjoy it. :)
@IvanDashSmith: Well they're not hard to make, but it's painstakingly time consuming to make sprites for everything, especially for big games with tons of characters and attacks, etc. :D I sure do love sprites, though.
@IvanDashSmith: Yeah, it kind of sucked with the rendered-3D-to-"sprite" style they used. Sprites are so painful to make, so I feel like companies try to avoid 100% sprite-based games these days. But the GBA version definitely had some killer sprite animations.
@GhostWhoWalks: I think they'll get to it, but I agree. I'm just glad there's "new" FE at all coming down the pipeline.
Wootttt! So excited. I'm a recent FE addict, and I <3 Marth from the DS remake. Argh that the trailer ends JUST before the awesome FE main theme really starts!
@Hunter2458: Agreed. I think they're just beating around the bush. Add new visuals, fill in some extra plot here and there, and viola. FFVII: The Remake, 50 trillion copies sold.
